In 2015, following a successful rebranding initiative, Simons Muirhead & Burton (SMAB) sought to revitalize their website to reflect their updated brand identity. Building upon the existing Umbraco Content Management System (CMS), which had proven effective and user-friendly for their team, we undertook a comprehensive redesign to align the site with their new aesthetic vision.
The refreshed design introduced a subtle yet impactful use of color, drawing inspiration from Paul Smith's iconic Signature Stripe. This approach added a vibrant and contemporary touch to the website, enhancing its visual appeal while maintaining a professional tone. The incorporation of these colorful accents was carefully balanced to ensure that the site remained both engaging and accessible to users.
By leveraging the flexibility of the Umbraco CMS, we seamlessly integrated the new design elements without disrupting the site's existing functionality. This allowed the SMAB team to continue managing content efficiently while benefiting from the enhanced visual presentation.
