In 2011, Simons Muirhead & Burton (SMAB) recognized the need to modernize their online presence to better reflect their evolving brand identity.
To achieve this, we undertook a comprehensive rebuild of their existing, outdated website, migrating it to the Umbraco Content Management System (CMS). This migration provided SMAB with a more flexible and user-friendly platform, enabling easier content updates and site management.
The new website was designed to align seamlessly with SMAB's refreshed brand aesthetics, offering a contemporary and professional look. We introduced several key features to enhance user engagement and provide valuable information to visitors:
- Interactive Timeline: A dynamic feature showcasing the firm's history, milestones, and significant achievements, allowing visitors to explore SMAB's journey over the years.
- Newsfeed: An integrated section providing real-time updates on the firm's latest news, publications, and legal insights, keeping clients and stakeholders informed.
- People Profiles: Detailed profiles of the firm's team members, highlighting their expertise, experience, and roles within the firm, fostering transparency and accessibility.
The successful implementation of these features not only enhanced the website's functionality but also significantly improved the user experience. SMAB expressed great satisfaction with the new site, noting that it was much more in keeping with their brand design and effectively showcased their firm's strengths and capabilities.
