Laburnum Cottage, a charming Cornish holiday retreat in Downderry, needed additional web space to showcase more photos of their picturesque property. With breathtaking coastal views and a cozy interior, the owners wanted potential guests to get a true feel for the experience before booking.
Understanding their requirements, we quickly designed and developed a simple yet effective microsite. The new site made use of the Lightbox JavaScript effect by Lokesh Dhakar, allowing visitors to browse through high-quality images in a seamless and engaging way.
The Lightbox integration enhanced the user experience by enabling large, clear images to be displayed without taking users away from the main site, keeping navigation smooth and intuitive. This visually driven approach was key in promoting the holiday cottage’s unique charm and making the booking process more engaging for potential visitors.
