In 2017, we had the privilege of supporting Brockhampton Cricket Club, a distinguished team in Herefordshire known for their remarkable achievements, by designing and developing a new website as a charitable contribution. Our goal was to create a platform that would effectively represent the club's legacy and foster engagement with its community.
Utilizing the Umbraco Content Management System (CMS), we crafted a clean and intuitive website that featured key sections such as:
- About Us: Providing an overview of the club's history, mission, and values.
- News: Keeping members and supporters informed with the latest updates and announcements.
- Gallery: Showcasing memorable moments through photographs from matches and events.
- Fixtures: Displaying upcoming match schedules to keep fans informed.
- Team Details: Introducing the players and coaching staff, highlighting their roles and contributions.
- Contact Information: Offering easy access to communication channels for inquiries and support.
The design emphasized a crisp aesthetic, aiming to be "cleaner than cricket whites," and was tailored to support the club throughout their season and their fundraising campaign for a new clubhouse. The website not only enhanced the club's online presence but also served as a central hub for members, supporters, and potential sponsors to connect with Brockhampton Cricket Club.
