In 2019, following his tenure with 4Networking, games industry veteran Jason Dutton embarked on a new venture, importing and building custom arcade gaming machines under the brand Arcade Action.
To establish a robust online presence and facilitate sales, we designed and developed an e-commerce platform using Shopify, tailored to meet the unique needs of his business.
Recognizing the diverse preferences of arcade enthusiasts, we implemented bespoke customizations that allowed users to search for various games they wished to have on their machines. Customers could select from different gaming platforms and personalize the machine's livery, choosing iconic themes such as Mario or Donkey Kong. This level of customization ensured that each arcade machine resonated with the buyer's nostalgic preferences.
The Shopify-based platform provided a user-friendly interface for both customers and the Arcade Action team. For customers, it offered an intuitive browsing and purchasing experience, while for the team, it simplified inventory management and order processing. The integration of these bespoke features not only enhanced user engagement but also streamlined operations, contributing to the fledgling company's early success in the competitive arcade gaming market.
