Advance Joinery, a Herefordshire-based joinery company, sought to revamp their online presence to align with their growth plans. The primary objective was to consolidate multiple regional websites into a single platform that accurately represents their brand and services.
The website was crafted with a clean, clear, and trustworthy aesthetic, reflecting the company’s commitment to quality and professionalism. To enhance user engagement, a third-party window design and quoting system and CRM was integrated, allowing customers to design and receive quotes seamlessly.
The project utilized Umbraco CMS and Igloo Theme site builder, providing a flexible and robust platform for content management and customization. Managing diverse business components—ranging from windows and doors to kitchens and staircases—required restructuring the site to group items more effectively, ensuring intuitive navigation for users. The integration of the third-party quoting system was straightforward, thanks to the flexibility offered by Umbraco and Igloo Theme.
Advance Joinery heavily advertise across various platforms and as a result gain a lot of traffic to their website. To avoid spamming the CRM with useless leads, we employed a number of tactics such as implementing Google's reCAPTCHA functionality.
The project spanned around four months, including one month for design, three months for development, and an additional month dedicated to content input and testing. A complete redesign was undertaken, incorporating a new CMS (Umbraco) to enhance content management capabilities.
Regular face-to-face meetings and Microsoft Teams sessions facilitated effective collaboration, ensuring the project remained aligned with the client’s vision. Adherence to existing branding and alignment with the company’s physical brochure were essential, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
While it’s too early to assess metrics such as increased traffic or user engagement, the new website positions Advance Joinery for future growth and improved customer interaction.
