The Challenge

Electricians were losing hours chasing quotes across multiple wholesalers -time that could be spent on the job. That was the spark behind QuoteHub: a mobile-first platform using artificial intelligence to instantly surface the best prices on materials, tailored to job requirements. But founder Ollie Henson needed more than just a development partner-he needed a trusted team who could help architect, build, and scale an entire ecosystem.

Having previously collaborated with TSD, Ollie knew he could count on a team with fintech-grade reliability, deep technical expertise, and the flexibility to move fast. Mobile App (QuoteHub AI)

Using .NET MAUI, we built a single codebase app that runs on both iOS and Android, offering electricians a seamless, responsive experience. Key features included:

  • AI-powered job interpretation via OpenAI and Azure to instantly match job specs with the best quotes.
  • Real-time diamond inventory integrations through Nivoda’s API.
  • Secure authentication with biometric login via Auth0.
  • Offline transcription mode, allowing users to capture job notes without internet access.
  • Integrated payments using Stripe and Two for card and account billing.
  • Live quote notifications through Twilio SMS and push alerts.
  • Smart upsells and signposting, powered by user behaviour.

Admin Portal

The QuoteHub Admin UI was developed to give Ollie’s team full operational visibility and control. Built as a secure web app, it enables:

  • Real-time order and user monitoring.
  • Full quote lifecycle management across electricians and wholesalers.
  • Payment reconciliation and refund handling.
  • Performance insights via custom dashboards.
  • Ticketed customer support and live messaging tools.
  • Seamless Shopify integration for order fulfilment.
